Giant Eagle has donated well over $25 million to participating schools since establishing Apples for The Students in 1988.
They are once again proud to offer $1,000,000 in School Awards.  We know of no better way to serve the community than by enhancing our children's educational and developmental environment.  Please join us in supporting our school and students by participating in the Giant Eagle Apples For The Students Program.  This year's program began on October 1, 2011 and continues through March 17, 2012.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

School supporters register their Giant Eagle Advantage Cards either through the Giant Eagle Website www.gianteagle.com/about/apples-for-students or, the toll-free number ~ 1-800-474-4777. Be sure to enter HMS's school code ~ 5639.   Each time you shop at Giant Eagle using your Giant Eagle Advantage Card, you earn points for Highland Middle School ~ points that are saved and redeemed for great educational tools.   There are no receipts to collect and the points are automatically credited to our school through the Giant Eagle Advantage Card.

Students check out the large drawing of Pablo Picasso at Highland Middle School.  The work is a collaborative piece done by Sixth Grade Inventors and Sixth Grade Pioneers.
